Marilyn Rivas

I am Marilyn Rivas, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over nine years of experience in the field. I believe that validation and support without judgement are key components to successful therapy. Throughout my career, I have helped individuals through difficult moments and guided them towards strengthening their relationships, allowing them to thrive outside of therapy. My approach to therapy is centered on the client's unique needs and preferences. I work collaboratively with my clients to choose the best approach towards healing. Sessions may focus on a variety of topics including insight, reflection, identifying and building strengths, understanding patterns, learning coping mechanisms, and more. I am passionate about my work and strive to bring that passion into each session. My goal is to ensure that every client feels heard and understood.
